Disabled Access

When a mezzanine floor of any size is installed, Part M of the Building Regulations which concerns disabled access must be adhered to.

It is also necessary that we demonstrate compliance with this regulation. That demonstration will involve many different things, all of which are dependent on your proposed use.

What does Part M of the Building Regulations cover?

  • Adequate provision must be made to enable someone with a disability access to a building
  • Provision for disabled people to use sanitary conveniences
  • Disabled seating is provided if applicable
